- Psalm 1 –
acrylic on canvas - mixed technique
size 1.20 m. - 1.00 m.
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and tey prosper in all they do.
A young man looks at Gods Word (the two stone tablets). He is standing at the bank of a river, next to a fig tree, that bears fruit.
Behind his back he holds a tora scroll, on which is written the first part of Psalm 1. The 'way of sinners' is before him and visible, but he chooses to avoid it.
